One of my life lessons… when it comes down to it, it is not the years or the days that we ultimately remember. It is the moments. It is the special time shared with people who add value to our lives. It is our dreams and accomplishments fulfilled. It is the laughter and the tears. It is our alone time to reflect and appreciate what we have, and the simple pleasures that make living great. It is the journey. Amidst today’s dead...

Be nice to yourself… it’s hard to be happy when someone is mean to you all the time. – Christine Arylo

Remember the adage, you can't love others until you love yourself?

It's the same with kindness. I talk a lot about spreading kindness and being kind to others. But before you can be kind to others, you have to be kind to yourself.

Confession: I'm the first person to knock myself down when I screw up. I berate myself until my sel...

Are you a follower or a leader?

As an entrepreneur, I am in constant need of new ideas to stay ahead of my competition. I do my best brainstorming when relaxing on the weekend.

This past weekend, while watching the golf and cooking up a delicious pasta sauce with MR N, I started thinking about June and possible promotional ideas. MR N came up with a great idea and it's kicking off this Saturday.

Some of our ideas are flops whil...

“I believe that visualization is one of the most powerful means of achieving personal goals.” Harvey Mackay

Do you visualize your success or your defeat?

On Sunday, Kevin Na won his third PGA major in the Charles Schwab Challenge. When asked how he did it, he smiled.

"When I first got here, I went to the trophy board and I visualized my name on it. I concentrated on it throughout the tournament and now, my name will forever be o...

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God such men lived." – George S. Patton

Today is Memorial Day in America, a holiday where we honor those brave men and women who've died so that we may live free.

In this crazy world we now reside, it's important now more than ever, to remember the millions of men and women who've sacrificed their life for their country. Dating back to the seventeenth co...

In your day, surround yourself with people who love you, motivate you, encourage you and just make you feel good about being... you!

Do you surround yourself with the right people? I'm not talking about people with money, power and/or influence. Are you surrounding yourself with people who inspire and encourage you to be who you are?

I used to think that I needed to be friends with people who could help me achieve my goals. I al...

"To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. I think people think too hard and get afraid of a certain challenge." ~ Summer Sanders

Are you dealing with pain and feel like giving up?

It's time to create a plan to work t...

No matter what your personal demons are, you can defeat them. All you need is belief in yourself and a little creativity.

We watched one of our favorite movies last weekend, Three Amigos. A small village is being overrun by the local bad guy, El Guapo. The three amigos have rescued the woman and El Guapo is coming with a posse of over fifty men to wreak revenge. The village looks to the three amigos for guidance and Ned offers...

What motivates you?

Over the weekend, a horse named Bodexpress inspired me.

The Preakness race ran on Saturday early evening and it was one of the most intriguing races I've ever seen. A horse named Bodexpress bucked its jockey at the gate and instead of stopping ran the race. Yup, you read that right. A jockeyless horse ran the race. Not only did he keep up with his fellow horses but he finished in 11th place.

Why is this insp...
