Are you worn out and in need of a break?
Take a rest in order to refresh your mind, body and soul.
I took my own advice and took a ten day vacation. I left my devices at home and didn't look at any screens for ten blissful days.
What did I do on my vacation?
I had three spa treatments a day, ate scrumptious five-star meals in gigantic portions, took an afternoon nap every day, read two newspapers a day, snuggled with my beloved husband and binge-watched the world go by my window (mostly hawks, clouds and a few raindrops).
I came back feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever comes. The stress went down the drain and I got a chance to reconnect with MR N.
We all need time away to decompress from the craziness of the world. Even if it's only for an afternoon, take time to rest and renew yourself. Go for a walk, visit an art gallery, take a drive out of the city, read a good book, whatever you need to do to take a rest, do it. Shut off your device and just take deep breaths.
