She reads books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live. – Annie Dillard

Books have saved my life more times than I can count. When life breaks my heart, I grab a book and start to read. When I'm lost and don't know where to turn, I read a book. When I'm happy and celebrating a victory, I reach for one of my favorite books.

Do you love books too?

I love everything about books from the feel of the pages to the smell of the ink and paper. I'm an old-school reader and prefer printed books to e-books. If you love e-books, that's great! I read e-books for our business and for the convenience.

Books are magical and have to ability to shape a person's life. For me, books are a part of my soul and many of them are like old friends. I can grab one of my favorites and be transported to a different time and place.

Some of my favorites include:

- Anything written by Kendall Ryan

-Anything written by Agatha Christie

-A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux

-The Cauldron Stirred by Judith Sterling

- Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne

-The Four Loves by C. S. Lewis

- Six Hours One Friday by Max Lucado

- Anything written by Harlan Coben

Today I am grateful for books and the adventures I go on whenever I crack a cover. I love to devour books almost as much as I love to eat chocolate.

What books are your favorites? Take a moment this week and read one of your all-time favorites.
