A murder dropped at Millie’s feet has her running in circles but will she unmask the killer in time? By day, Millie is an assistant general manager of an exclusive resort in sunny Florida. She loves her job, her friends, and her grandmother, Lulu. Solving crimes and catching murderers is her side hustle and one she seems to have a knack for. When a hip social media influencer known as Merry Marissa floats into town on her yacht, she insists on the full star treatment, for free no less. Millie grits her teeth and agrees. Things get complicated when the troublesome influencer winds up dead. With a list of suspects a mile long, Millie starts detecting. Normally, she has Lulu’s Crew to help but they’re too busy becoming internet sensations. The more dirt Millie digs up on the deceased, the more she realizes people are not who they appear to be. Can Millie solve the crime before she winds up in the crosshairs of the killer?


Sunshine, Selfies, & Smugglers is a hilarious cozy mystery I couldn’t put down. In this mystery, Millie and Lulu’s Crew are hip-deep in smugglers, influencers, selfies, and stalkers. From the first page to the last, I loved every minute of it. The descriptive narration is intricate, allowing the reader to dive into the story. The characters leap from the page straight into the reader’s heart. The plot moves at a nice pace, perfect for cozy readers. The mystery itself has a few twists I didn’t expect. I know this sounds bad of me to say but I totally cheered when the “influencer” died. In my opinion, she had it coming. I enjoyed how Millie solved this mystery on her own. If you love cozy mysteries in a sunny locale, you’ve got to read Sunshine, Selfies, & Smugglers. Louise Stevens has another hit on her hands. Highly recommend!
