How do you combat stress?
For me, there's nothing better than a little nap or a good night's sleep to eliminate stress. I'm not really sure what happens while I sleep but when I wake up, I feel refreshed and ready to tackle whatever tasks are in front of me.
I like this quote because it explains why I crave sleep as deadlines approach and my to-do lists reach gigantic proportions. My body is waving the white flag and needs to recenter itself before tackling more.
Take my advice and get some sleep, even if it is for a five-minute cat nap. Close your eyes, take deep breaths and shut your mind off. Let your body heal itself and give you the energy to take on what needs to be done.
