Are you a bully? If so, you are no better than a murderer!

I saw this quote and it's quite powerful. It speaks in clear language exactly what happens when someone is a bully. Instead of using a weapon, bullies use words to slash, kill and murder.

I am a survivor of school bullies. Because I was shy and a little overweight, the bullies latched onto my weaknesses and brutally attacked. It was relentless and I thank God every day I didn't kill myself.

Bullies are the lowest scum in my book and I am a proud activist against bullying in schools, work and even in places of worship. Bullying is a disease we need to squash. Bullying needs to be eliminated from books, music, movies and television. It should never be a way to move the story along.

Every person has value and worth. No one is above another, no matter where they came from or how much money they make. Even leaders of countries have to reign in bullying.

If we band together and say, "You can't bully anymore," the world will be a better place.

If you've been bullied or witnessed bullying, report it. It doesn't matter if it is online or in person. Keep talking about your experience and don't feel ashamed. You have a right to exist and if I could, I'd hug you right now. Life will get better, I promise.
