Maybe the Universe is preparing you for the life that right around the next bend.

When I graduated from high school, I thought I was going to marry a rich man, be a successful lawyer and never have to worry about money ever again. Happiness never entered into the picture, only security.

What a fool I was.

Anyway, as I pursued this life I thought I wanted, I kept running into obstacles. It turns out, money and prestige wasn't in the cards for me. The further I got into my twenties, the more unhappy I felt. Was this the life I was supposed to have? Miserable and alone?

It wasn't until I let go of my old life and embraced whatever was in store for me, that my dream life revealed itself.

Life doesn't always go according to plan and when roadblocks happen, maybe the Universe is tapping you on the shoulder to take another route.

Today, I can't imagine a better life than I have now. I have a man who loves me unconditionally. I live in a beautiful home and am making a difference. Sure, I deal with strife as well as ups and downs but I wouldn't change it for anything.

When life takes a wicked detour, take a hard look at yourself and what you want. You may need to let go of what you planned for a life even better than you imagined!
