What's the key to love? Let me tell you a story. . . #inspiration #motivation #FridayFeeling

If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were. ― Kahlil Gibran

A lot of people throw around the word, love. Read the above quote again.

Do you agree with this quote?

As most of you know, I'm happily married to MR N. We met online and at the time, we were over 3,000 miles apart. We fell in love when fear clutched my heart. I got scared. It was the big L word and I freaked out. I dumped him not once but twice. Fate kept crossing our paths though and the third time, I grabbed his hand and said, "I do".

What does this have to do with the quote? MR N loved me unconditionally. He loved me so deeply, he set me free twice. He was and continues to be the embodiment of this quote. He had every right to not take me back, but he did.

I'm forever grateful because he's the best thing that ever happened to me. His love completes me and makes me a better person. He and I hold hands and journey this wonderful life together.

Love is hard. Love can hurt. Love is the purest emotion possible. Love can make you feel like Superman/Superwoman.

The key to love is to love unconditionally. No conditions. No holding so tight that your fingers bleed. Love is a butterfly. It is lightweight and beautiful. Let love be what it is and let the people you love be who they are. If they love you, they will return. If they don't, they were never meant for you.

MRS N
