Every year, I look forward to the Christmas season. It's the time of year when people are generous, kinder and willing to help those in need. The holiday spirit is alive and well in everyone (or almost everyone).

Today, I am going to our local food bank/pantry to give them our Christmas donation as well as a few items to gift (pots and pans, warm hats, boots). It may not seem like a big deal but to those who are on the receiving end, it's the best Christmas gift they've ever received. It'll change their lives.

Want to make a difference? Donate your time, money or gently-used items. You'll feel great and your act of Christmas kindness will transform someone's life.
