Last May, I attended the Romantic Times Convention in Reno, Nevada. I met up with some fans, which is always wonderful and met some new ones. Two new friends, Martha and Mary told me about an event they were hosting that sounded compelling. It is a dance recital and an author book signing. I was definitely interested in the book signing, and the more I learned about the dance recital the more I knew I had to attend.

The dance recital is to showcase the dancers of Dancers Against Cancer, a group of wonderful, creative, fearless dancers. Founded in 2007 by Jody Isenhour, herself a dancer and survivor Dancers Against Cancer not only provides resources and support to those who are living with cancer, but Ms. Isenhour unites artists and supporters of the arts who are passionate about making a difference in their communities.

That’s where Martha and Mary come in. They put together the event, Authors and Dancers Against Cancer. I’m so enthusiastic about this event that in addition to being one of the seventy plus authors that will be attending, I am also one of the sponsors.

The event is on March 15-16 at the Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg, Ohio. There will be giveaways, raffles, readings, and games. Come and stop by my table (number 41) on Saturday and say hello to me and my husband. Mention NN Light and I’ll have a special gift for you!
