Excerpt:

Some believe life begins at conception while others say birth. . . Those from a faith background might say that it begins after a spiritual rebirth . . . and definitely upon realizing a . . . calling. Something that selects you and not the other way around . . . years before your personal enlightenment to the fact. . . Perhaps there are many who’ve experienced . . . those thoughts about life. And in case there are those who can relate, there’s somebody just like you . . . A young woman whose life began later than most…by divine intersection with a Virginian from across the pond; whom by heaven’s designation became the conduit of those truths to her. And though it took many years to fully “see” the process, her counterpart was prepared to put things in gear during his last weekend at home before his departure for Knoxville. . .

. . . And this is . . . where the story began. Along the banks of the Potomac in the outskirts of Alexandria where Jordan had finally reached the unenviable task that was eighteen years in the making... Nonetheless, having to say good-bye was a challenge even to Jordan as someone who by vocation was very much in touch with human complexities. But on a warm summer night in . . . July of 2070 the time had come to do that which she found very difficult to do. On that particular night, Jordan hosted a send-off . . . for her son that was attended by close family. . .

Later on that evening, after the guests cleared their home, a reticent Jordan sat quietly on the outside deck that overlooked their small ranch. Certainly, her thoughts were a litany of . . . moments with her son from the time she carried him, to his birth, the toddler years, to the first day of school on up through to the current . . . So deep in thought, Jordan hadn’t noticed that her son was standing by the doorway watching. . . And it was then that those personal thoughts were broken up by his voice as he went over and sat by her.

“Mother, nobody’s dying, you know. I’m just going to college that’s all. Homecoming will be coming up before you know it.”

. . . Still in her reflective mood, Jordan reminisced…while somberly engaged in conversation about the past in between those stints of quietness.

“Who’s your Daddy?”

“Shia David Benjamin Sharone I.”

“What’s your name? Shia David Benjamin Sharone II.”

“Don’t you forget about that and if you need reminding. . .”

*65 percent buildup, 35 percent political “Endgame”. Alexandria: World Class Life Story.

**The story is intended for open-minded adults only as it contains controversial content. No fluff.**
