What makes this book a must-read and/or what inspired you to write this story:

Bits and pieces of life experience prompted me to explore the ways people’s lives are broken along with the power of love to heal and the loss and betrayal of love to destroy. I am fascinated with the innumerable ways women and men are drawn together, how bonds are formed that seem to come with birth and stay throughout, and even after, this life. I believe love has this kind of power and endurance, knowing no limits of time or death.

Readers will keep turning the pages with the story’s plot twists, complex characters written from three points of view, and a journey through the storms of heartbreaks and losses incurred in life and relationships. It delves into the power of love to heal and move on.

Christine Samuelson has been a lifelong writer in many professional and personal capacities, but now writes the kinds of stories she loves—about life and love’s challenges, tragedies and victories. As a graphic designer and in newspaper production, she won state press association awards for her cover and ad designs. Creativity and writing have always been an integral part of her work. From living in 14 cities in 10 states, with years of travel and three different careers, she's acquired a wealth of personal, professional, and life experiences. They inspire the diverse settings, characters, and authentic storylines of her novels written in a unique voice.

Christine lives in coastal South Carolina where the people, land and sea are constant sources of inspiration.
