My Review:
Evelyn Timidaiski, an author whose talents extend across a variety of genres, has done it again. A Flame Rekindled, the second book in the Brandon’s Brigade series will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.
Jackson Favre is left in charge of the Brigade when Brandon goes on a secret mission. It’s nerve-racking to start, because Brandon’s wife, Mira, is pregnant and ready to give birth at any time. Add to this that security around her needs to be tight because her research involves discovering the potential healing qualities of a rare spider orchid.
But when he finds the love of his life, Charlene Bowman, standing in his office, well, the stress level goes even higher. She’s supposed to be dead. She’s been assigned to guard Mira. And oh yeah, she has a secret or two herself.
A Flame Rekindled is deliciously layered. I was fully invested in Charlene and Jackson’s relationship and totally absorbed in Mira and her research. I even fell in love with the well-written secondary characters whose appearances were brief, but memorable. I so wanted Miguel to be promoted to Mira’s second-in-command of the orchids.
But wait, there’s more…a villain I loved to hate.
Somehow, the author put these disparate plots together and wove a story that’s both intense and sweet. This book has everything: an exotic setting, fully developed characters, and subplots that will keep you turning the page.

Author Biography:
Mrs. Timidaiski lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi with her two dogs. She has four grandchildren and two adult children. She loves to watercolor, quilt, and take nature photographs.
Mrs. Timidaiski is currently published with The Wild Rose Press. She has published three Romantic Suspense novels, Brandon’s Brigade Book One: A Soldier’s Honor, Brandon’s Brigade Book Two: A Flame Rekindled, a Western, A Wylder Homecoming, and one Fantasy, Tiponi.
