Because pirates do not like to give up any bounty they have found.


And with Aden, they have found a valuable bounty indeed.


Then, if Thomas manages to pull off the impossible, save Aden, and change the course of America's history once more, can he live long enough to travel back to Annie and his family?


My Review:


There are books that grip a reader. There are books a reader can't put down. This is a book that simply cries out for a streaming service to grab its rights. Heck, the entire series just must be nabbed by some smart exec. It wouldn't be past producing the 3rd ep of a season of this fine work before people were binge-watching.


This tale, ripped from the annals of history, will be one people do not forget. The action scenes are incredible. The story is woven in such a way that the alternate reality seems so real. People in the UK who are still sad the sun went down on their Empire should read this book! Fans of this series will love this book. It is a great stand-alone or superb as read as part of this story. A rip-roaring adventure that continues to present the danger of messing with time.

Author Biography:


Michael Roberts is a Police Officer in Southern California. He also served seven years in the United States Marine Corps, where he operated an Amphibious Assault Vehicle as a crew chief for four years and then served with the Marine Security Guard detachment, guarding American Embassies around the world. He lives with his wife Michelle Deerwester-Dalrymple, a college professor and also an author, and their five children.
