But Christmas magic doesn’t care if straight arrow Natalya and fallen angel Luca never should’ve met. With holiday cookies sweetening the deal, will Natalya and Luca be granted a future they don’t believe they deserve?

My Review:

Wow, this story is a delectable treat. I gobbled it up faster than a luscious bakery cookie. From the setting to the characters to the romantic tension to the ballet performance, Snowfire deserves several rounds of applause. Charlotte O’Shay surpasses her previous books with this heartfelt, touching romance set in NYC.

Let’s start with the setting. I’ve never lived in NYC, but after reading this story, I’ve experienced all the joys of living there. Vivid narration paints an exquisite view of the city. The smells, the tastes, the sounds, the very essence of a small neighborhood is intricately described.

There is a pretty tight cast of characters but that allows the reader to get to know everyone really well. Luca is an ex-con baker who’s taken over his family’s bakery. He’s full of contradictions and is truly a cinnamon roll hero. Natalya is a shy ballerina who’s very lonely and trying to make a comeback on the stage after a devastating injury. Their meet cute is so adorable. I connected with both main characters right away.

The romance is a bit of a slow-burn with extra heaping of emotions. While trying to convince themselves it’s not romance, they fall in love with each other. Charlotte O’Shay builds the romantic tension up until it combusts into a night neither will forget. Steamy scenes that’ll heat you from the inside out, this romance will have you falling in love all over again.

Charlotte O’Shay hasn’t written a book in quite awhile due to some family health issues. Ladies and gentlemen, she’s back and this is her best book ever written. Go out and buy this anthology so you can read Snowfire by Charlotte O’Shay. I strongly recommend this book!

Author Biography:

The only think Charlotte O’Shay loves more than reading steamy romance where happily ever after always wins is writing them.

Charlotte was born in New York City into big family and then married into another big family.

Negotiating skills honed at the dinner table led her to a career as a lawyer.

But after four beautiful children joined the crowded family tree, Charlotte traded her legal career to write about happily ever afters in the City of Dreams and she couldn’t be happier.
