My Review:


Drinking from the cup of immortality binds two souls together for eternity but will it give them the power to stop the Third Reich in their tracks? The last thing night witch Lilyann Volkov wants is to be grounded. She yearns to be up in the air, flying with her fellow night witches. Lilyann uncovers critical information for the Allies so she gets up in the air but it costs her dearly. Before the Norse goddess can help her, Lilyann attaches her spirit to American soldier Charles Duquesne. When he is shot, he must drink from the cup of immortality to save them both. What happens next will put both Lilyann and Charles on a path where illusion and reality blur as does good versus evil. Will they be able to stop Germany's troops before it's too late?


The Last Night Witch took my breath away. From the characters to the plot to the romance to the descriptive narration, The Last Night Witch is a brilliant masterpiece. The plot is equally balanced between the fantasy elements, action elements, and romantic elements. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with all the couples in the series as it drew to an epic conclusion. I won't reveal any spoilers, let's just say I was astounded with what took place and thought hard about the book long after I finished reading. Lilyann and Charles make for an exciting read. I can honestly say I didn't want to leave the world Heidi Vanlandingham built. If you love your fantasy epic, you'll want to read The Last Night Witch. If your reading preference is fantasy romance, pick up The Last Night Witch. This is hands down, the best book in the series. Highly recommend!
