Title: The Oncoming Revolution: Overcoming the Current Paradigm

Author: Sam Mansourou

Genre: Nonfiction

Book Blurb:

Author Mansourou criticizes the current paradigm of mainstream thought and the ruling class in this work that calls for civic action.

My Review:

When an author sits down to write a book, they need more than a premise. They need to have an understanding of prose, style and yes, grammar. This book has a good premise...that society is based on inequity. The point is a good point, but it is never clearly made. Having read this, I did see a correlation between its frantic message and the current world.

You only need to view the US Congress at any point in the last decade to see how laws are written to not pass so that fundraising can be generated by their failure. That is hardly the point of Congress.

Had this book been more of a scholarly treatise then it would be laudable. There is a crying lack of proofreading and editing here. Sentences are repeated verbatim in consecutive paragraphs. Sentences are run-on and without focus. One isn't hard pressed to see someone staying up all night, chugging pot after pot of black coffee and pounding on a keyboard at a fevered pace. This cannot be recommended as anything but as a guide: how not to write a book.

My Rating: 3 stars
