Together they battle dark spirits and Lucifer himself, all the while falling deeper in love.

Excerpt:

Shana breathed deeply as her sister once again danced away. Her nostrils flared with the fragrant scent of human blood and overheated bodies. Her tongue ran across her teeth and settled against one pointed tip. Baby-blue eyes narrowed to slits with so many different flavors to choose from. Sweet temptation rushed forward from the back of her mind. Her mouth watered. The dancing buffet in front of her had no clue they were in danger. Her gaze darted back and forth, fixating on the throbbing pulse in every neck. Blood flowed thick and fast through their veins. Their racing hearts thumped their own magnetic song. Shana’s head fell back as she tried to maintain firm control of her instinct to feed. The energy in this club felt different, but right. Something here called to the wilder side of her—the one she kept so carefully hidden and controlled.

Her gaze lifted to the black ceiling with its twinkling lights shimmering in the darkness, but itdidn’t seem to help. Her eyes slowly drifted lower to the tinted glass enclosure surrounding the dance floor from above. It must have been a balcony at one time leading to office spaces. She would give anything to be up there instead of in the middle of this crowd. A tall, shadowed figure stood on the opposite side. A stranger, possibly the owner or maybe security, watched over the crowd. She narrowed her eyes and fixated on the image, straining to glimpse his face, but the dark glass refused to reveal what it concealed. Her jaws clenched in frustration.

Shana stepped farther onto the dancefloor, sliding between the throng of bodies swaying to the music. Fingers caressed her bare arm. A rough hand touched the delicate skin on her lower back. The woman in front of her smiled, and her partner smiled over her head. Strangers rubbed and bumped against her from every angle. Large hands grabbed her hips as someone moved in behind her and began to grind.

For one moment, Shana gave in and moved with the unknown person. She loved to dance. His hands slid down her thighs then back up to her hips. He pulled her closer and tighter against his body. Her head fell back against the stranger’s chest. It was her biggest mistake. Once again, her gaze lifted to search the glass, silently pleading for help. Whoever stood there was her salvation, but she couldn’t see his face and he couldn’t see her. Energy moved through her veins, building in rapturous strength. Her eyelids closed on a sigh as she gave into the seduction of the music and the pulsating blood.
