My Review:
Kris here for a rare book review. I’m obsessed with fantasy books. It's my fave and it all started with The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. This book is lit with world-building, dialogue, and characters.
The author writes epic characters, action, adventure, the fog of war, and more. The setting is medieval which was bussin’! Think GoT, only better. I gripped my phone as I read. I was completely enthralled.
This is my first book by Avery Christy, and I found it to be an intense fantasy read. This is a whole new world and the author does a masterful job introducing characters and world-building. The characters have depth and I found myself wondering more about certain characters. At times, TBH, the storylines and characters jumbled together. This isn't a bad thing as the masterful J. R. R. Tolkien's books had the same effect on me.
If you like classic medieval fantasy adventure, pick this up.
