Are you taking care of yourself and maintaining your health?
You should be.
For the past two days, I've been plagued with migraines so severe, it makes looking at any screen (especially computer and tablet) impossible. My right temple throbs as if a screwdriver is forcing its way through my head. I went to the doctor and all he said was it's my sinusitis.
Instead of making the problem worse by working through the pain, I've been laying down when I need to. Why? I'm taking care of myself and allowing my body to heal itself.
I like the above quote for its blunt accuracy. Without our health, we are nothing. Embrace your body for what it is: your temple. It's a symbiotic relationship.
Take care of yourself. Get a yearly check-up. See your doctor when something comes up. Pay attention to your body. It will tell you what you need when you need it. Take a nap. Get an extra hour night sleep. Meditate. Exercise. Eat healthy. Drink plenty of fluids.
Every day, thank God for your good health. It's one of life's great blessings.
