I wanted to believe him. My stomach started to twist and pull, thinking about the nightmares of my family beheaded in the square. It was a reoccurring nightmare that plagued most of us younger people. I couldn’t wait until the day came that there wasn’t a red phone anywhere. But I felt like that day was never going to come.
