ARC readers needed! Author Rochelle Wilcox wants you to read Lost Long and review it #readers #books

ARC readers wanted for Lost Long, the revised Book I of a complete series launched last year, The Road to Ragnarök. The series got great reviews, with N. N. Light’s Book Heaven choosing Book IV as the best Romantic Fantasy and one of the three best Indie Books of 2022.

If you’re looking for:

Enemies to Lovers

Forced Proximity

Forbidden Love

Destiny

Found Family

Keeping a Secret

and enjoy a slow burn romance — with no spice or HEA until the end of Book IV — and cliffhanger endings in the early books, I think you’ll love Lost Long.

Here’s the blurb:

Some Norse gods will do anything to stop humans from knowing that gods still exist.

They'll kill anyone who discovers their secret.

But the god of love Freyr won't let them have Lia.

She doesn't want to go with him.

He doesn't want to take her.

And he definitely doesn't want to fall in love with her.

Fate has other plans.

When Lia witnesses the impossible in the sky above her on a dark Los Angeles morning, Loki and Thor condemn her to death. To save her life, Freyr, his sister Freyja, and her husband Will must take Lia to the other side of the world, into the realm of giants and dragons far below, and finally to the mythical land of Asgard. Along the way, as Freyr discovers a love he never expected, he's forced to decide how far he will go to protect Lia from the fight his brothers started, and he will end.

As the series continues, the Norse gods realize that Ragnarök approaches, long prophesied to be the final battle between the gods and the giants who were banished from Earth centuries ago. Their journeys on the road to Ragnarök take them across this world and to the other worlds that exist beneath and around it, with Lia even enlisting the aid of dragons in their fight. Along the way, Freyr discovers all that Lia is destined to be and realizes that her unexpected powers may be the key to the future of the gods and humanity — and that she alone may be able to save him from his certain death in Ragnarök, that the Norns long have predicted.

You might be asking, “Why are you looking for ARC reviews of a series that launched last year?” I realized after the series launch that Lost Long wasn’t quite as good as the other books. So I got a fresh view from a new editor. It’s a better book now, and I think readers will love it. It’s 98,000 words and the Bookfunnel link will be sent out within a week, with a request for reviews by June 1.

And since I wouldn't think of leaving you hanging on the cliffs that end the first books in the series, I'll be discounting Books II, III and IV to $.99 each for the month of May. (They’re all in KU; Lost Long is coming out of KU tomorrow so I can distribute ARC copies.)

I'd love your reviews of Books II-IV too. They all need a little love. But I’m only asking you to commit to reviewing Lost Long.
