Want to make the world a better place?

Embrace empathy.

Empathy is nothing more than feeling what someone else is going through without judgement. Sounds pretty easy, huh? Yes and no. Yes, it's easy in theory but when you put it to the test and actually try it, it can be difficult.

I have a real difficult time showing empathy for those who have done me wrong. I admit it, the last thing I want to do is have squishy feelings for them. But in order to do my part in making the world a better place, I need it. So I try.

Empathy returns humanity to the world. No machine or AI can compete with a smile, hug and a kind word.

So, here's your homework for the day. When you encounter a difficult person or situation, put on your empathy cape and project empathy. Don't take it personally but reflect goodness.
