Are you dealing with pain and feel like giving up?
It's time to create a plan to work through the pain. Yes, you read that right. Work through the pain, not just wish it to go away.
Both MR N and I have been dealing with pain these past few months. MR N has some serious back issues and I have a right shoulder injury. Both injuries make for a pain-filled body. The pain is so bad, on occasion, I cry out.
Do I moan and complain? I used to but now I've got a plan for dealing with the pain. I work through it, like any athlete does. I concentrate on the big picture and see it as a challenge to overcome.
We have pain, whether physical or mental, and we all struggle to find a solution. Maybe instead of wishing it away, focus your attention away from the pain and onto something else. Stop being afraid and push through the pain.
For me, I'm focusing on my summer spa vacation. Seven blissful days away from it all, soaking my body in a whirlpool three times a day, and spending every minute with MR N.
