My Review:


It sounds simple enough to Phoebe Corbet: hide out in a plain casket and use Wylder's undertaker as a cover until her partner in the jewel heist shows up. But Gus Wright is no ordinary undertaker. He's kind, generous, and the perfect gentleman. Who is she to resist his charm, especially when trouble shows up? One thing she didn't count on is Gus stealing her heart. Love can be a wild undertaking... especially when you don't see it coming.


A Wylder Undertaking is an adventure set in the old west. I couldn't put it down. It's a classic western romance with a fun twist. Laura Strickland is a gifted writer, especially when it comes to historical romance. No matter the era, you can count on Laura Strickland to weave a vibrant story filled with historical accuracy, a full cast of authentic characters, and a few twists you didn't see coming. The town of Wylder comes alive in this installment. I immersed myself in A Wylder Undertaking with ease. Both Phoebe and Gus are relatable characters, which I soon connected with. The danger of Phoebe getting caught amped up the intrigue and I found myself reading late into the night. If you're a fan of classic western romance with a large dose of adventure, pick up A Wylder Undertaking. Escape to a time where men and women both yearn for a little adventure. Highly recommend!

Author Biography:


Multi-award-winning author Laura Strickland delights in time traveling to the past and searching out settings for her books, be they Historical Romance, Steampunk or something in between.
