My Review:
Dusty has two rules when it comes to men but when Wales sweeps her off her feet and she gets pregnant, can she trust him to not betray her, like so many men before? Dusty knows what it’s like around the rodeo and hard-as-nails cowboys. She has two strict rules: never mix business with pleasure and never believe anything a cowboy says after an exhilarating ride at the rodeo. She’s never broken her rules, that is until ruggedly handsome Wales dances his way into her heart. They share a passion-filled night and Dusty thought that would be the end of their affair. But now she sits pregnant. Will she tell Wales? How will he react? Choices will be made and promises broken. Can Dusty and Wales finally admit they love one another and their little one on the way or will Dusty run away before Wales can hurt her again?
All Cowboy & Heart is a multi-faceted western romance I heartily enjoyed. It encompasses quite a few tropes including age-gap romance, cougar romance, one-night stand romance, secret baby romance, surprise pregnancy romance, edgy western romance, and more. From start to finish, Rhonda Lee Carver weaves a contemporary western romance with plenty of emotion. Love, just like with life, gets messy and things happen. Someone unexpected walks into your life and you’re unprepared for the fallout. The emotional narration in All Cowboy & Heart makes this a relatable read and you won’t be able to put it down. Both Dusty and Wales have issues to work through, mainly trust, but they’re realistic in how they handle things. Fans of realistic western romance will love All Cowboy & Heart. If you’re looking for an age-gap/cougar one-night-stand-turned-pregnant western romance, you’ll want to read All Cowboy & Heart. Rhonda Lee Carver is one of my favorite western romance authors and I recommend any of her books. Highly recommend!
