My Review:


Are you ready for the ultimate romantic adventure between an outgoing travel influencer and a strait-laced tax accountant? This book is part of the Always a Bridesmaid series and I think it’s my favorite. Opposites attract in this romance/rom com where zany one-liners and plenty of innuendos flood the story and make for an unforgettable read.


Let’s start with the romance, shall we? Kathryn Hills writes romance with the romance lover in mind. The heroine is your average woman with her own set of faults and strengths. She’s not looking for love, but it finds her. This is true of this delightful book. The romance slowly builds with just the right amount of tension, humor, and heart. Kathryn Hills’ writing prowess is on display in this book. I couldn’t stop smiling as I read.


The characters, though, are what make this book amazing. Brianna is a character I connected with on a deep level. Her playful attitude hides some deep hurts and regrets. Her lifestyle allows her to jet set around the world, yet she uses her influence to help charities and those in need. John is also a complex character. He’s one who tends to be serious and blend into the background. He’s got a playful side too. Together, they balance each other out which I totally loved.


Kathryn Hills has penned yet another brilliant romance. It’s flawless and entertaining. I will always want to read this book.
