My Review:

Retired supermodel Olivia Diamond loves her quiet life on Nantucket, away from all the glitz and stress of her old life. She's written a tell-all memoir and with its release imminent, the last thing she expects to discover is a murdered victim who bears a striking resemblance to her. The police insist she hires someone to protect her in case the murderer is coming for her. She hires Declan Keene, an old lover from before her supermodel fame. Neither can forget the past and long forgotten passion erupts between them. As they investigate who is behind the threats and wreaking terror aimed at Olivia, they realize just how much they mean to each other. Can they reunite and forge a future together or will the murderer enact its revenge before Declan can stop it?

Endangered Diamond is a sweeping romantic suspense I couldn't put down. From the very first page, I found myself thrown into Olivia's life, complete with a strong, silent protective hero, and an unnamed enemy set out to make Olivia pay. I get shivers just thinking about the plot and its masterful twists and turns. The romance itself is wonderful and one of my favorite tropes: reunited second chance romance. What makes this a must-read in my opinion is the descriptive narration. It propels the plot and grabs the reader by the throat. There's a balanced approach to the romance and suspense which I loved. The ending caught me by surprise which I give full credit to the author. This is my first book by her and honestly, I'm craving more. If you're a fan of Suzanne Brockman, you'll love Endangered Diamond. Highly recommend!
