My Review:

Liz and Jason were high school sweethearts until it all came crashing down. They each went their separate ways. Fifteen years later, Liz is an equestrian champion with the US Equestrian Team and returning to her hometown with her teenage daughter and a great opportunity at a therapeutic riding practice. She never expected to see Jason again, much less rekindle the lost love between them. She must steel her heart against falling in love with him all over again. She has more than herself to think about and a deeply buried secret she doesn't want him to know. Can Jason prove to her he won't abandon her like he did when they were in high school? Can she take the leap to her forever love or will she hide from love for the rest of her days?

Her Forever Love is an emotional second chance high school sweetheart romance I loved from start to finish. There's something about second chance romances that make my heart soar. Add horses to the mix and I'm in reader heaven. Kimberly Beckett takes flawed characters and breathes life into them. The characters felt so real to me, they leaped from the pages. I connected with Liz right away. The plot moves at a nice easy pace with plenty of conflicts to work through. A few twists and turns add to the emotional depth of the story. A brilliant romance and one I highly recommend!

Author Biography:

Ever since she can remember, Kimberly Beckett has loved horses. She wore out 4 rocking horses before she was 5 years old, and as she got older, she read every horse story in print, from Black Beauty to My Friend Flicka. Her parents couldn’t afford to buy her a horse of her own, and believed it was just a phase she would soon outgrow, but as soon as she had her first attorney job nearly 30 years ago, Kimberly bought her first horse, and she hasn’t been without at least one ever since. She has been riding dressage for several years and has earned her United States Dressage Federation Bronze Medal. When she wasn’t reading about horses, she was reading romance novels, and her favorites always involve an alpha male Hero riding a magnificent horse. Kimberly has now found a way to combine her love of horses with her love of romance by writing her own version of equine-facilitated happily ever afters. She truly believes that Horses Heal Hearts.
