I love audiobooks! As a quilter, I spend hours and hours listening to stories while cutting fabric, piecing toppers, and binding quilts. Xe Sands is my favorite voice artist, so having her narrate all four books in my début mini-series, The Davenports, is a dream come true. As with my Green Hills novels, I absolute adore how she brought Girls of Flight City, a World War II historical fiction gem, to life.


What makes this a must-listen audiobook?


Selfless love is the hero in this book, and it’s brought to life perfectly with Xe’s narration! The right thing and the easy thing are rarely the same — well doing the right thing and doing what we want is equally challenging. Maxwell Davenport is the alpha male we LOVE to love, and when Max’s willpower is tested, we can’t help but cheer for this strong, supportive, patient, kind, funny, magnetic man. He and Janie Lyn have a wonderful love story that is definitely a must-listen audiobook!
