My Review:


In one of the most action-packed romantic scifi of her career, Pauline Baird Jones creates MicroP and it’s an unforgettable read. With characters that leap from the page, world-building which pulls in a reader from the first chapter, and enough action to please the most discerning reader, I couldn’t stop reading.


It all starts with the world-building. For several years, I’ve watched Pauline Baird Jones grow into one of the best writers in the science fiction genre. Her expertise is world-building. Her ability to create a fantastic world and then make it believable is second to none. The cyborg world-building is exquisite and reads like an action-filled movie with all the special effects.


The characters are what make MicroP such a moving story. Human and cyborg alike are written with emotion. I connected with both Mic and Remi. Their journey throughout this book is heartfelt and peppered with conflict. Even when I reached the end, I wanted to keep reading.


If you’re a space opera/romantic scifi reader, you’re going to love MicroP. It’s a bucket list read for sure and one I strongly recommend.
