My Review:

In a moment of weakness, Rebecca makes a choice that could shatter her plans for a fresh start. Rebecca has a firm no dating rule and there’s a good reason for that. She doesn’t have time for men, especially those who are bad news. But one-night stands? Sure, those are allowed, though Rebecca is rethinking that idea. Her one-night stand shows up in the middle of her new life in Granite Cove. Not only that, but he keeps popping up and weakening her tough stance. Can love be real or is it a fairy tale? One choice is all it takes, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

No Choice At All is a modern romance unlike any I’ve read before. I’ve read some jaded heroines, but Rebecca overshadows them all. Overall, this is a quality piece of women’s fiction with some romance featured but I wouldn’t define it as a romance. The characters are realistic and there’s plenty of angst written throughout to appeal to those readers who love that kind of story. I had a hard time connecting with Rebecca. She’s the complete opposite of me but I kept reading to see what would happen next. The descriptive narration is impeccable and transported me to the lovely town of Granite Cove. If dramatic romance without all the mushy stuff is your reading jam, you’ll adore No Choice At All. If you like a realistic story with some romance in it, pick up No Choice At All.
