Title: Only You in Everything

Author: Jennifer Ann Shore

Genre: Young Adult, YA Romance

Book Blurb:

I’m in love with Will Moreno.

I have been my entire life, and it’s not some wayward crush on my best friend’s brother—it’s the real deal.

Our shared history is complicated. We both have lasting emotional and physical damage from a freak bike accident when we were kids, and it’s held us back.

I’m determined to change that, and this summer might be our last chance.

We’re both working at Camp Creek—along with my best friend and Will’s twin brother Bellamy—before we head off to college in the fall. I’ll be managing the art program, adjusting to a new roommate, and chaperoning campers while also trying to create a masterpiece that will land me an internship to help jump-start my artistic career.

I’m a little uninspired, though, because even being surrounded by art and the beauty of nature, nothing compares to the way Will makes me feel.

"Only You in Everything" is a young adult romance by Amazon bestselling author Jennifer Ann Shore.

My Review:

“Art is like finding the perfect song to match the moment, only I get to capture it and make the feeling permanent.”

Will’s scar signifies so much more than an accident… can Cameron show him the beauty of the world starts with that same scar? Cameron is in love with Will, her best friend’s brother, but as they say in the movies, love doesn’t seem like a big enough word for how she feels. They grew up together, living next door to each other, their lives firmly entwined and fraught with emotion. A bike accident left both her and Will scarred, both physically and emotionally. While she sees the beauty of Will’s scar, he does not.

It’s the last summer before they go off to college and they’re all working at Camp Creek, the same camp where they’ve all gone since they were in grade school. Being an artist, Cameron is in charge of the arts program at Camp Creek. The summer is going to be one summer Cameron will never forget. She’s got one summer to convince Will he’s her muse, her first love, and her best friend. Can she succeed in convincing Will to take the plunge, or will she be broken-hearted, again?

Only You in Everything is one of the best YA romances I’ve ever read. From the first page to the last, I couldn’t stop reading. I connected with Cameron in so many ways. The setting of a summer camp brought back so many memories for me. I loved summer camp as a kid and a teen. The last year of summer camp was bittersweet, just like it is for Cameron. The descriptive narration sucks the reader in and doesn’t let go until the very end. Jennifer Ann Shore is an award-winning bestseller with all the accolades, yet this book is her masterpiece. Everything about falling in love, moving from teen to adult, summer camp, stepping out of your comfort zone, friendships, and more is beautifully portrayed in Only You in Everything. The angst, the emotion, the conflict, the artistic inspiration moved me to tears. A heart-wrenching young adult story, Only You in Everything will remind you of the freedom of youth and exploring what really matters in life. Highly recommend!
