Title: Solar Warden Book Two - Requiem

Author: Peter Fuller

Genre: Military Science Fiction

Book Blurb:

Earth is in peril. The Reptilians and Grays, led by their Blue Nordic overlords, have suffered a series of unexpected defeats at the hands of the humans–a species they’ve deemed inferior.

Expecting a divide-and-conquer strategy by the aliens, Solar Warden begins reinforcing its Mars base–the enemy's expected target. And the final stepping stone to Earth.

In the midst of the impending invasion, Steve “Scarecrow” Richardson and Sandy Cooper, find themselves marked for death by both alien and human foes.

Book two of Peter Fuller’s Solar Warden series finds the humans faced with an overwhelming force that will not stop until they’ve eliminated the human race. All that stands in their way is the determination and fierce will of a small group of Earth Defense Force combatants willing to lay down their lives to save humanity.

My Review:

This is simply a must-read part two after the first brilliant book in this series. The battle for Earth's survival goes on and it may just be that a pilot nicknamed Scarecrow is all that stands between victory and annihilation.

This book has every tense moment any reader could want. The enemy is cold-blooded and cunning and seem to be one step ahead. The good guys have right and justice and Scarecrow on their side. There is even some shipboard romance tossed in to add to the fun.

The book is filled with action and intrigue. This is the kind of book that once you start it, you can't wait to get to the end. I finished this much faster than I intended to. Recommended to fans of sci fi action like The T of NG or the word alien in plural. Now the world must await book three to see how this is going to end.

My Rating: 5 stars
