This is a hot anthology with spankings, power exchange, BDSM, magic, paranormal elements and I highly recommend!
Breaking the Rules – Caia is a witch in need of human interaction in order to recharge her magic. Tariq’s a werebear/vamp alpha who can’t resist taming Caia. This is a steamy BDSM story between two strong characters. I found Caia a tad annoying but under Tariq’s firm hard, she melts.
Lust Cakes – Mischief fairy Jasmine bakes up a few batches of lust cakes as a gift to her co-workers. They’ll have sex like bunnies but won’t remember it the next day. But when her sexy boss, Damien, catches her in the act, he doles out his own punishment. My favorite story in the set. The chemistry between Jasmine and Damien is off the charts. A steamy office romp!
Amateur Witch – Tammy and her boyfriend, James, are supposed to go to a Halloween party but he doesn’t like to dress up. She casts a spell but things don’t quite go as planned. I enjoyed this one. James turns the tables on her and teaches her what happens when you mess with magic. Delightful and sexy!
Amazon – Sam has the perfect accessory for her costume but when she puts on the amulet, she’s transported to the jungle. She meets Adam, a drool-worthy warrior, and she does what Jane would do when meeting Tarzan: she kidnaps him and has her way with him. A fun twist on the whole caveman love story.
Revenge Fairy – Tana’s sister claims to have been impregnated by a god but when Tana does some research, it doesn’t add up. Good thing she’s a revenge fairy because the idiot who did this to her sister is in for a world of hurt. I wanted to like this one but found it a little slow and hard to follow.
Hot and Bothered – Eolande is an orgasm fairy who helps lonesome souls find pleasure. But when she makes a mistake, can she fix it or is she in big trouble? An orgasm fairy is my new favorite kind of fairy. I found this story hilarious with a sassy heroine and all the trouble she gets in. Hot romance!
Overall, this is a great collection of steamy paranormal short stories. It’s well-written and each story’s arc is flushed out. The characters don’t have much depth but like most flings, it’s a quickie. Perfect to read by the pool or at the beach.
Favorite Story: Lust Cakes. While it’s premise is quirky, Jasmine and Damien are my favorite couple. I’d love more from them!
