Title: Eight Nights of Apricot Cookies

Author: Roni Denholtz

Genre: Holiday romance novella

Book Blurb:

When Erica Fine meets her new neighbor, Noah Zelman, she is immediately attracted to him. But with a cheating boyfriend in her past, Erica doesn’t trust easily.

Noah has been hurt in the past too. But he’s eager to help Erica as she searches for her grandmother’s favorite recipes—which include her scrumptious apricot cookies, the treats she made every year at Hanukkah time.

She agrees to let him help with her search. Noah’s one request is that he test out the recipes she’s found on the internet as Erica experiments with trying to recreate her grandmother’s cookies.

The more time they spend together, the more their feelings grow. Will they find the treasured recipe? And what happens when their quest is over?

Excerpt:

“We played for chocolate kisses,” Erica said.

He met her eyes, and a mischievous grin lit his face. “We could always play for real kisses.”

Her face grew hot. “Real kisses?” she squeaked.

“Well, how about this,” he said. “We play for this gelt, and the winner—” he waggled his brows—“gets to kiss the loser.”

“On—on the lips?” Shoot, she sounded like a pre-teen. Erica reached for her coffee and took a gulp.

He was watching her closely.

“However that person wants to kiss the loser,” he said.

Her muscles, which had tensed, relaxed somewhat. If she won, she could give him a brief kiss. Or a simple peck on the cheek.

But if he won—

She couldn’t help it; excitement flared inside her, like a flame on the Hanukkah candles.

Share a holiday family tradition:

When our kids were little, we had themes for the eight nights of Hanukkah. For instance, one night would be pajama night where they got new pjs. Another night was always book night where they got new books. The first night they’d get a “big” gift. And usually the last night was an activity like going to the movies together.

Why is your featured book perfect to get readers in the holiday mood?

“I really enjoyed this cute romance that centered around Hanukkah! Erica and Noah join forces to find a special family cookie recipe hidden somewhere in Erica's grandmother house and begin to fall in love during the eight nights of Hanukkah.” – Amazon reviewer

“It brought back plenty of family memories. Our families lived close by so I liked reading about the two houses. My grandmother never wrote her recipes down so I don't have my favorites, rice pudding and rum balls.” – Amazon reviewer
