My Review:

 

Sassy Rose Lee doesn’t care one bit about Cruise’s family money and that suits him just fine. Every Thorn has a Rose is wonderfully written western romance with serious themes and characters you’ll fall in love with. The narration is rich in emotion and very detailed. Sparks fly and emotions clash in this unputdownable read.

 

Let’s start with the characters. Cruise is a hero with a big problem. He’s sexy as hell and has tons of money. He’s got an ego the Montana. He needs a woman who’ll challenge him. He finds her and thus the chase begins. I really enjoyed reading from Cruise’s viewpoint. He’s arrogant but likable. He’s a hero most women will swoon over.

 

Rose Lee is my kind of heroine. She’s smart, beautiful, and full of sass. She’s got layers and her emotional scars run deep. She’s a relatable heroine and I connected with her right away. Rhonda Lee Carver does a fantastic job with her character arcs.

 

The writing is superb, from the narration, plot progression, romance, to love scenes. I read later into the night because I couldn’t put it down.

Writing for Rhonda is like falling in love and finding a new best friend over and over again. Her characters will find a place inside your heart too.
