Hockey Wars 3: The Tournament


The Dakota Hurricanes and Lightning are back again, and it is hockey tournament time!


It’s the first hockey tournament of the season, and for many of the girls and boys on the two teams, it’s their first tournament. They’ll get to experience all the pressure and excitement as they play off for the Ice Fest Tournament Trophy!


Along with the excitement of the tournament, there’s also someone new that will throw two best friends into turmoil. Could this new stranger drive a wedge between two best friends, or will they be able to overcome and take the trophy?

Hockey Wars 4: Championships


The kids from the Dakota Lightning and Hurricanes are putting it all on the line as they travel to their state championships!


It’s the end of the regular hockey season, and that means only one thing, it’s championship time! The girls and boys of the Dakota Hurricanes and Lightning have been working hard all season to qualify for championships, and now the big weekend has finally arrived.


Will Cameron and the boys steal the show and take the championship trophy? Or will it be the girls that steal their thunder? There’s a weekend of hockey, and everyone is putting it all on the line until the final buzzer sounds.

Hockey Wars 5: Lacrosse Wars


The Dakota Hurricanes and Lightning are back, and this time they have teamed up with some hockey friends for the summer lacrosse season!


With a competitive field lacrosse season ready to start within weeks, tryouts were tough as the boys and girls all competed for spots in the Blue Storm lacrosse team. With a big season of lacrosse weekends ahead, these young kids were facing a steep learning curve, and only time would tell if they were going to be up to the challenge.


The sunny green lacrosse fields were a long way from the cold hockey arenas most of the kids were used to playing on. Liam, Cameron, Rhys, Millie, Mia and many of the other Dakota hockey players along with some new friends, were willing to give it their best shot though.


Will the Blue Storm be up to the challenge? Can they prove that they’re as good on the lacrosse field as they are on the hockey ice?

Hockey Wars 6: Middle School


The Dakota Hurricanes and Lightning are back, and together they’re all getting ready for the big drama club production as well as their first year of middle school!


Starting middle school is never easy, but when you have such a great bunch of friends, it can take the pressure out of the first day of school. The girls and boys of the Hurricanes and Lightning not only have to compete against seniors for ice time, but they’ll also need to audition for the big drama club production.


There are many changes ahead and some new friends, but with the help and support of their best friends, these kids should be up for the challenge! Oh, and don’t forget plenty of on the ice action.

Millie, Cameron, Rhys, Finn, Liam, Georgia, and a bunch of the gang will be there at the Pro Snipe Academy. Along with loads of hockey, there are also many other activities, including water fights, relays, talent competitions, and much more.

Author Biography:


Ben Jackson was born in Tasmania, Australia, and is a successful indie author that has been writing for almost a decade. Ben is married to Sam Lawrence, and together they specialize in self-publishing children’s books. They have been married for several years and have traveled together between Australia and Canada.


Together, Ben and Sam have published a series of children’s books called My Little Fart and Hockey Wars, as well as If I Was A Caterpillar and several other non-fiction books.
