My Review:


A book that starts as a mystery and only deepens like some parts of Lake Lanier. A totally captivating mystery that draws the reader in and doesn't let go. As someone new to this series, it took nearly half the book to realize what was going on.


There is actually a thrill to stumbling into a series with no preconceived ideas. The story of Carson and Piers just carries this book. Their obvious attraction and incredible connection make this book so enjoyable. The Christmas storyline is top notch.


Some books are simply set at Christmastime. This book is a Christmas book that highlights and relishes Christmas. From the decorations and the treats to the warmth and love...this book is a gift.


This book works as a standalone for someone who wants a really well written time travel mystery. If you are a fan of the Three Sisters series, then this book is a must read for you. A beautifully written Christmas love story that may cover over 200 years but proves love can overcome any time or distance.
