My Review:


A book unlike any I have ever read before. If you think Job had a rough go, well, just check out Matthew. This book puts the 'uffer in suffer and puts the 'ullying in bullying. If you long to get lost in a book, then this is the book for you.


The unexpected switching from one character and time to the next is difficult to follow. The jumping back and forth is finally brought together in the end but this holds back the reader. Once you are taken out of an active storyline, it is hard to get into the next one.


Fans of Christian fiction will likely enjoy this book. If you lead more towards the old protestant work ethic, then you will really love this book. Her life is not a bowl of cherries but there are a lot of pits. A lengthy work that will appeal to someone willing to deeply engage in a book.
