Michael and Sarah glided through the door and back out into the hall, while the two janitors continued to argue whether or not to call the cops. This is hilarious. They have no idea we’re only an arm’s length away.

Raising an eyebrow Michael said, “Should we prove it to him?”

“No, we better not.” Sarah giggled. “They’d probably both have heart attacks and drop over.”

“Yeah, you’re right,” he said, feigning disappointment with a pout. Putting an arm around his partner in crime, he walked with her down the hall and away from the two screeching janitors. He turned the corner. They were now alone in another wing of the school. Without even thinking about it, he stopped and hugged both arms around her. As they embraced, an almost magnetic force pulled him towards her and a flow of electricity ever-so-slightly passed between them. Whoa, talk about being attracted to someone.

Enjoying the warmth of her aura, his eyes locked with hers. What would it be like to kiss her? Would it feel the same as when I was alive? Suddenly, he forgot where they were. He forgot they were dead. He forgot about anything other than wanting to kiss a beautiful girl. Slipping his arms down around her waist, he leaned closer.

Sarah’s eyelids fluttered shut and her lips parted expectantly.

Medallion, and was named one of the “best indie YA books we have seen in the past year, from both self-publishers and small presses” by IPPY Magazine. Marlo writes young adult, women’s fiction, and short stories. Her second book, THE GHOST CHRONICLES BOOK 2, was released in October 2017. She is also the author of Lessons of Hope and Light, A Collection of Inspirational Short Stories. Marlo is an associate literary agent with The Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency in NY.

In her free time, Marlo loves reading, relaxing at the beach, watching movies, and rooting for the Penn State Nittany Lions and Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
