Many people have a bucket list. Ava Black has her horse list, a list of sensual escapades she wants to experience. Walking into the tattoo parlor opens her eyes to a whole new world, including sexy billionaire, Eric North. He’s demanding but nothing like her stalker ex-husband, who watches her every move. Eric vows to protect her from her ex while checking off every item on her horse list. But Ava has deep scars from her marriage and she’s not looking to become Eric’s wife. As her ex amps up his threats, she needs Eric more than ever. Eric promises her the moon but what happens when her horse list is complete? Can she trust Eric enough with all her secrets or will she run away in fear?
Wow, The Horse List is an evocative, erotic romantic suspense I couldn’t stop reading. When it comes to Anna Lores, I know I’m in for a very well-written erotic romance. But in The Horse List, she surprised me with her suspenseful writing. I hadn’t been reading long before I despised Ava’s ex-husband. Never have I read such a depraved human being and reading his exploits made my skin crawl. There’s also a mystery vibe surrounding Eric but with him, I know he's looking out for Ava. The plot moves at a great pace with a balance of smoking hot bedroom scenes and dangerous suspense scenes. I connected with Ava and found myself rooting for her. The emotional turmoil inside Ava is realistic and my heart went out to her. The ending was completely satisfying, and I didn’t want it to end. If you love erotic romantic suspense, pick up The Horse List. Highly recommend!
