My Review:
The highly anticipated next book in this incredible series is now available and all I can say is wow! The author has genuinely created a world where everything seems to be coming apart at the seams. The myriad time and place moments are jarring and mind blowing.
This is a fantastic continuation of this almost legendary series. The main characters are there, and fans of Emery and Rhyme are in for a ride.
What cannot be overstated is how incredible a job of continuity Jeffries does. This is a story that reminds me of a modern version of work by Homer. This world was created in book one and the threads of accuracy and continuity just shine as the reader glides through each book. It takes immense talent to maintain such a complex story accurately and that alone deserves immense praise.
Two of my favorite characters are Crispy and the Friar from the Mount. I, for one, cannot wait to get my hands on the next book of the Ages of Malice series. The whole world will be waiting to see what happens next. A must read. Every book in this series is a must read.

Author Biography:
Lloyd Jeffries enjoys dark comedies, philosophy, clever turns of phrase, religious studies and thought experiments involving the esoteric and legendary. A decorated veteran of numerous conflicts, he served in the U.S. military and has practiced Emergency, Trauma and Wilderness medicine for more than twenty years.
