My Review:
I really enjoyed this book. It was unlike anything I’ve read before.
A Wedding to Remember is a cozy mystery with a magical twist. What makes it stand out is the addition of tiny fairy folk who protect the main couple, Jessie and Matt, as danger threatens to derail their upcoming wedding. The fairies were absolutely delightful. I imagined them speaking in high-pitched voices as I read their scenes. So whimsical and fun!
The main character, Jessie, reminded me a lot of Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) from You’ve Got Mail, which is one of my all-time favorite movies. With her charming little bookshop, cozy cottage, and warm personality, the story had the comforting feel of a Nancy Meyers movie.
The mystery itself was well done, with just enough suspense to keep me guessing as I turned the pages. It had that perfect balance of danger, magic, and heart. A delightful read that I totally recommend if you’re looking for something cozy, magical, and full of charm.
