My Review:


After dealing with an earth-shaking betrayal, Lark Cavanaugh puts all her earthly belongings and her cat into her car and escapes to Cape Cod. She moves into a house she’s inherited and is determined to make a go of it. Everyone warns her of the ghosts and paranormal occurrences rumored to take place in her house but it’s all malarkey, right? The spirits make themselves known to her and she’s petrified. She turns to her helpful next-door neighbor, Jesse Holt, and together they try to solve what happened years ago at Holloway House. When the haunting turns life-threatening, Lark’s life is in danger. Can she and Jesse stay one step ahead of the paranormal forces at work or will Lark be the next Holloway House victim?

Ghost Moon is a spooky paranormal with plenty of steamy romance to satisfy any reader. From the first pages, Kathryn Knight grabs the reader’s attention by the throat and doesn’t let go. The paranormal suspense is incredible and there were times when I had goosebumps break out along my skin as I read. In classic Kathryn Knight style, she balances the paranormal with steamy romance. Both Lark and Jesse are tortured souls in need of some healing. The romance between them is perfectly paced. I connected with Lark right away. Her reactions to the hauntings were accurate and honest. The plot moves quickly with plenty of twists and turns I didn’t see coming. When the ending came, I exhaled audibly to control my racing heartbeat. Such a brilliant story and one I highly recommend!

Favorite Quote or Character: Lark. She’s gone through a lot of pain and all she wants is a fresh start. She goes through such growth in Ghost Moon and her strength shines like a beacon. A terrific heroine I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with.
