Title: Grandma's Visit and Pistachio Cake (Shani and Friends Book 4)
Author: Shani T Night
Genre: Children’s Fiction, Children’s Picture Books
Shani and Friends is a series full of adventures with friends at school as well as her own adventures at home. Shani’s just discovered her grandmother will visit this summer and she’s not sure why since she likes to visit her grandmother at her house in the summer. It is what happens during this visit that excites Shani and leaves her wondering how her grandmother knows so much.
Grandma is coming to visit, and Shani is excited. Normally, Shani goes to visit her grandma, not the other way around. Surprises are in store for Shani, and it includes discovering how Grandma knows so much. What will happen? You've got to read this book to find out.
Grandma's Visit and Pistachio Love is a terrific children's book talking about summer and grandparents. For most children, they interact with one or more sets of grandparents. Grandparents are such fun for kids and this emotional relationship is portrayed brilliantly in this book. The story is perfectly paced with colorful illustrations to match. The lessons explored here apply to every child. A great story and I highly recommend it to all families.
