My Review:

Barrett has returned home to be with his best friend and his family for a retirement party. His hotel room is a no-go so he's staying under the same roof as his best friend's sister, Ava. One look at her luscious body and he knows he's a goner. No matter how much he tries to resist her, he can't help himself. He's falling for her and no matter how much he utters the bro code, he's in way over his head. When Barrett's best friend finds out, he's going to rip away the only family Barrett's ever known.

I love a good forbidden romance. I mean, who hasn't fantasized about your siblings' friends? Barrett is the perfect hero in this taboo romance. He's a little jaded to the whole romance thing but with Ava, he lets down his walls. Sure, he's older but that only adds to his appeal. The best thing I love about him is how much Ava's brilliant mind turns him on.

Kendall Ryan is one of my all-time favorite romance authors. In this standalone, she delves into brother's best friend romance. The romantic tension, kissing and petting scene made me quiver with anticipation. The conflict is a little on the heavy side but there's such a swoon-worthy happily ever after that it made the conflict worthwhile.

Run, don't walk, and pick up the romance today! You'll fall in love with Barrett and Ava, just like I did.
