My Review:


Summary –

When twins Sydney and Noah Monaco inherit an expansive property from an aunt they knew nothing about, they both agree it's a good idea to check it out. Noah volunteers and flies from Atlanta to Connecticut. While exploring the woods on their property he discovers a woman in trouble. What happens next sets the twins on a whirlwind adventure they never expected. Criminals are after the twins and the malnourished woman they rescued. Could this have something to do with her or the artifact Sydney discovers? The more Syd and Noah investigate, the deeper the rabbit hole they're plunged into. Can they stay one step ahead of the gang of criminals after them before it’s too late?


Note: even though this is book five in the multi-author series, it can be read as a standalone.


Narrator’s overall voice –

Rich Miller has, in my opinion, the perfect voice to narrate this book. He uses inflections to differentiate between the characters. I found myself getting caught up in the story and it’s all thanks to the narrator.

Yes, Rich embodies the characters in every way.

Rich Miller’s reading style makes for an entertaining listening experience. I enjoyed his interpretation of the story.

Rich Miller is a talented narrator, and his voice is the perfect pairing with the story. He brings the story to life.

Rich Miller’s pacing is even and moves from slow to fast, depending on what’s going on in the story.


Audiobook flow –

It flows so well, after a while, I forgot I was listening to an audiobook. I transported into the story and let Rich Miller be my guide.

If you’re a thriller/suspense reader, you’re going to love this high-octane listen. From the action to the mystery to the danger to time running out, this audiobook will leave you breathless.
