My Review:


The last thing ex-SEAL turned ER nurse Tony Franco expected was to learn there’s a bounty on his head. Keeping it from his SEAL buddies, for the time being, is his only coping mechanism but all that changes when he meets Zumba instructor Sierra Sanchez at his friend’s wedding. He’s drawn to her and there’s something about her he can’t shake. He finds comfort in her arms and the more he’s around her, the more he realizes how much danger she’s in. He vows to protect her, with his own life if he has to, but can he promise her forever when he doesn’t know if they’ll be alive tomorrow?

A Bounty on Forever is a fantastic romantic suspense with sizzling chemistry and an adrenaline-filled plot. I’m a sucker for a protective SEAL and an independent take-no-guff heroine. The characterizations of both Sierra and Tony are in-depth and by the end of the story, they became a part of me. The romance starts out as enemies-to-lovers but eventually rolls into full-fledge romantic suspense. The suspense subplot blends beautifully with the romance. The realistic aspects of the story (military, SEALs, Zumba) is 100% accurate and adds to the overall story. Well researched, well written and perfectly paced makes this a must-read. Highly recommend, especially for fans of Sandra Brown.

Favorite Character/Quote: Sierra. Her spirit and spunk drew me to her right away. The fact she didn’t like Tony’s antics and playboy attitude in the beginning only solidified my connecting with her. Incredibly brave woman and one many women will relate to.

Author Biography:


With close ties to the Navy SEAL community, Connie’s mission as a writer is to offer the reader a realistic portrayal of men who transfer their alpha tendencies and athletic prowess into serving a noble cause. A former English teacher and corporate executive Connie holds a B.A. from East Carolina University.

Although she spent many years in the corporate world, her first love has always been writing. She maintains a portfolio of songs, poems and stories she wrote as early as ten. When she isn’t creating new plots, Connie enjoys Zumba fitness and claims her best story ideas come to her while dancing the Salsa.
